Service and Emotional Support Animals in Employment

Employees have the right to bring service animals and emotional support animals to work.

Under the Minnesota Human Rights Act, employers have an obligation to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, including in the case of service animals or emotional support animals.

If you believe you have been unlawfully denied a reasonable accommodation for a service or emotional support animal or experienced other discrimination in employment, report the alleged discrimination
