American College of Health Care Administrators Certification
Experienced administrators may apply online and qualify for waiver of academic and practicum requirements by submitting evidence of current NAB-endorsed ACHCA certification as a nursing home administrator. If you are ACHCA certified you will be required to submit a copy of your certification.
Other General Information required of all applicants:
- Resume showing employment history since college graduation
- Applicants must verify every professional license they have held. Please have your professional licensing board send your license verification directly to the board office.
- Individuals with multiple medical licenses may submit a National Practitioner Database report in lieu of singular verifications.
- Completion of the Minnesota state examination and NAB exams: exam information will be sent to the candidate upon staff review of application.
It is important to know:
- When submitted, the application for licensure is open for 18 months (a year and a half)
- Upon receipt of the application, information to sit for the state and national examinations will be provided to you.
- The Board office communicates with applicants primarily by email
Applicants can view their application progress using their BELTSS Online Portal Account; document submission will be reflected in your account within 5-7 business days.
