  • Continuing Education Requirements

    All HSE licensees must present 20 clock hours of continuing education to qualify for license renewal unless you have received a newly issued license. HSE licensees should count clock hours for workshops and activities completed between last May 1 and this April 30. Clock hours earned after April 30 this year may be used to meet your required number of clock hours, but cannot be carried over from year to year, nor can those used for renewal last year be used again for this year’s renewal. Clock hours earned prior to May 1 last year may NOT be used for this year’s renewal.

    New Licensees

    New HSE licenses have a prorated amount of CE clock hours due for their first renewal period.  The amount of CE clock hours due for these licensees is based on the percentage of the full year they held a license. If you are a new HSE licensee, please review the chart below.
