Mentor Interest List:
The NHA as a Mentor/Preceptor should ensure the Administrator Residency/AIT Program complies with the domains of practice, the NAB training manual and ensure the AIT has experience with professional practice analysis.
To be considered a mentor/Preceptor, the mentor/Preceptor 1) must be a licensed health services executive or a nursing home administrator. 2) mentor must be licensed for the type of applicant they are training 3) must be licensed and practicing for at least two years. 4) not supervise an AIT who is a related individual or who resides in the immediate household of the mentor.
Mentors/Preceptors should refer to the Administrator Residency/AIT Program Manual at www.nabweb.org for the tools and resources to be used throughout the AIT experience and for the ALD or ALDIR field experience refer to the field experience tools and resources under Assisted Living on this site.
Employment Interest List:
A listing of administrators/directors is provided as a service to owners and Boards of Directors in need of licensed administrators/directors. The HSEs, NHAs and ALDs listed are those who have indicated their interest in being considered for a vacancy. Other than acknowledging that these individuals are licensed in the State of Minnesota, our office provides no review or endorsement of their qualifications or experience.
