    Unofficial License Verification 

    Unofficial License Verification may be done by a searching on the Online License Search at the black bar at the top of the page. To complete the search for any licensee licensed by BELTSS , you can search by Last Name or License Number.  Print this page for your records once you find the correct licensee you are needing to verify.

    Official License Verification Requests

    To request an official license verification be sent from Minnesota to another jurisdiction, the Licensee must request the verification.  Current Licensees should go to their online license portal and submit a request through online services and request a license verification. 
    • A $30 fee for an official license verification will need to be paid online in the individual license portal with a credit or debit card ($30).
    • Please forward any additional documents required by the requesting jurisdiction to BELTSS by email, if completing an online verification, or include the document with your written request. The process time for MN BELTSS verification is 3-5 business days.
    Official verification of licensure from Minnesota includes full name, date of birth, license number, issue date, expiration date, status, basis of issuance (if by exam the verification will include the licensee's NAB score), and information regarding public discipline and corrective action.
