Continuing Education Requirements
All NHA licensees must present 20 clock hours of continuing education to qualify for license renewal unless you have received a newly issued license. NHA licensees should count clock hours for workshops and activities completed between last May 1 and this April 30. Clock hours earned after April 30 this year may be used to meet your required number of clock hours, but cannot be carried over from year to year, nor can those used for renewal last year be used again for this year’s renewal. Clock hours earned prior to May 1 last year may NOT be used for this year’s renewal.
New Licensees
New NHA licenses have a prorated amount of CE clock hours due for their first renewal period. The amount of CE clock hours due for these licensees is based on the percentage of the full year they held a license. If you are a new NHA licensee, please review the chart below.

CE Attestation Record Form and CE Activity List
The Continuing Education attestation record form provides space to record the CE credits you earned since the last renewal cycle. Record the types of CE credits you have earned in the appropriate sections of the form. It is recommended you keep your certificates with this form in the event you are audited by the board.
This list contains the board rules for activities other than traditional workshops and programs. It is your responsibility to provide evidence if you choose any of these activities.
