CE Attestation Record Form and CE Activity List
The Continuing Education attestation record form provides space to record the CE credits you earned since the last renewal cycle. Record the types of CE credits you have earned in the appropriate sections of the form.
This list contains the board rules for activities other than traditional workshops and programs.
Check the listing of board approved CE programs and approval numbers on the approved continuing education list.
BELTSS accepts continuing education activities that have received approval from NAB. Licensee can look up activities in the NAB Approved CE Database. The database is free and can be found in the
Continuing Ed. section of
NAB's website.
Other State's Approved CE Activities
An organization which annually sponsors many educational seminars, institutes, workshops, or home study courses, may request designation by the board as a registered continuing education sponsor on an annual basis. Registered continuing education sponsors may assign CE credit clock hours to their own program offerings applying the provisions of this chapter. Interested organizations should review
Minnesota Administrative Rules 6400.6870 Subp.4 through Subp.6 .
Audit
The BELTSS database randomly chooses individual audits. We are required to audit at least 5% of all renewals. After November 1 all renewals are audited.
All ALD licensee must present 30 credits of continuing education every two years to qualify for license renewal.
If your renewal application is selected for audit, we will contact you by email. Within 15 days, you will need to provide copies of your certificates of attendance verifying your continuing education credits and the CE Attestation record sheet must be submitted in a single PDF version emailed to beltss.hlb@state.mn.us.
