Minnesota Department of Human Rights Commissioner Kevin Lindsey will explore the impact of the proposed Voter ID and Marriage Amendments to Minnesota's Constitution, and explain why the Department of Human Rights opposes both Amendments, at a meeting of the Roseville Human Rights Commission on Oct 17.
The public meeting begins at 6:00 PM at Roseville's City Hall. Commissioner Lindsey will speak at 7:00 PM.
In addition to discussing the Amendments, Commissioner Lindsey will provide an overview the Department of Human Rights' activities to end discrimination in Minnesota, and the Department's goals and new initiatives for the year.
A public comment and question-and-answer session will follow the Commissioner's presentation.
What: Roseville Human Rights Commission Meeting with guest speaker Minnesota Human Rights Commissioner Kevin Lindsey.
When: Wednesday, Oct. 17, 6 PM (Commissioner to speak at 7 PM)
Where: Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN 55113
The meeting will also be streamed live on the web at www.cityofroseville.com/webstreaming and available on Roseville Cable Channel 16.
