Why the Engagement Sessions are Important

These community engagement sessions are important because under the consent decree that the City signed, the City and MPD acknowledged that collecting feedback from community members, who are most impacted by MPD policies, is essential to building a culture of continuous learning based on humanity and civil rights.

Police Policies and Feedback Webpage

The consent decree also requires MPD to establish a webpage where it will post proposed policy updates. Community members can comment and provide feedback to MPD about the proposed policy updates.
