On May 12, MPR hosted a Virtual Town Hall: Spotlight on Anti-Asian Racism during COVID-19 Pandemic. Laura Yuen, editor at MPR News, interviewed Asian American leaders, as well as, Minnesota Department of Human Rights Commissioner Rebecca Lucero. One hundred and seventy-nine community members attended this timely and important program.

The panel discussed anti-Asian racism and its personal and cultural effects on the Asian American community and beyond. They also discussed allyship and self-care during this challenging time.
