Kelly Santiago
Born in Guatemala, Kelly earned her law degree with honors cum laude from Rafael Landívar University, specializing in civil law, constitutional law, and legal research. She has experience providing legal counsel on governance issues for Guatemalan NGOs. She pursued an LL.M. in U.S. Law at the University of St. Thomas, further deepening her understanding of legal systems and immigration issues. She also gained hands-on experience through an internship at Contreras Edin Law, an immigration law firm in Minnesota, reinforcing her dedication to serving immigrant communities.
This legislative session, Kelly is volunteering and helping MCLA monitoring and tracking bills of special importance and impact for Latino communities in the state.
