Griselt Andrade

Griselt Andrade is the Lead Attorney for the Agricultural Worker Project (AWP) Unit of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), where she represents agricultural workers in civil employment matters throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. Her clients include migrant, seasonal, and year-round farmworkers, as well as H-2A agricultural guest workers and H-2B forestry workers. She also advocates for workers who have experienced labor trafficking and helps them connect with legal remedies and support services.

Before joining SMRLS in 2014, Griselt worked at Integreon Managed Solutions and served as a Law Clerk for the East Central Judicial District in Fargo, North Dakota. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

As a former teenage migrant worker in the Red River Valley sugar beet fields, she brings a personal commitment to her advocacy and a deep passion for helping farmworkers and their families access justice.
