Ready for Tomorrow? Celebrate Minnesota's History

40 years of history kickoff on March 5, 2025

We are aware of tomorrow's weather forecast, but rest assured, the celebration of the Commission's history will proceed as planned. After all, we do live in Minnesota!

Everyone is welcome to attend in person, but for those who prefer to join remotely, we will be offering a livestream. Due to technical reasons, we will stream the event from the Commission's YouTube account. However, the livestream link will also be available simultaneously on our Facebook account.

Event details

Together, Minnesota's deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing community will kick off a celebration of 40 years of advocacy at the Capitol and making a difference in our lives. 

Key remarks will be provided by Curt Micka, Mike Cashman, Mary Hartnett, and Darlene Zangara. Representatives from the Governor's Office and the Capitol will be participating in the celebration. 

Please come and recognize some of Minnesota's legislators and community advocates who have made history over the last 40 years.

ASL interpreters and CART will be provided.
