This presentation explores some of the ongoing access issues for those with hearing loss, especially people who describe themselves as hard-of-hearing. As hearing aids and cochlear implants are often not enough, it will also touch on the ever-changing domain of present and future Assistive Listening Technology. Questions and discussion at the end of the presentation.

About Monique: Monique Hammond graduated with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy. A sudden hearing loss became a life-changer. It marked the beginning of her struggles with communication and tinnitus issues.
Monique is a public speaker, hearing loss advocate, community educator and industry safety consultant. She is the Vice President of Loop Minnesota.
