Mendota Heights, MN - The Minnesota Board of Nursing is deeply saddened by the death of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a licensed registered nurse in Minnesota, who was shot and killed by a federal immigration enforcement agent during a public demonstration in Minneapolis on January 24, 2026. Mr. Pretti held an active license issued by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
