Complaint Notification Letters
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 214.103, subdivision 1a, the Board will notify a licensee within 60 calendar days after receiving a complaint regarding a licensee unless the Board determines that such notice would compromise the Board's investigation and that such a notice cannot reasonably be accomplished within this time.
What should I do if I have received a letter notifying me that I am the subject of a complaint?
- Keep your contact information up-to-date with the Board of Nursing. You can update your contact information by completing the Name, Address, Phone Number Change Request form and returning it to the Board office.
- Thoroughly and completely read all correspondence from the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Follow all instructions on the related correspondence by the given due date. If the due date poses a challenge, communicate with the Board of Nursing regarding your circumstances.
