Several Minnesota statutes establish the data privacy status of administrative and Board actions pertaining to a nurse's license.
The Board determined that it is in the public interest to publicize not only actions taken against a nurse's license but also actions taken to improve the status of a nurse's license. A patient, patient's representative, or employer needs a simple way to make a determination about the appropriate utilization of any nurse.
Obtaining a Copy of a Public Document

Viewing a Public Document
A public document may be viewed during regular office hours by arranging a time to view a specific order or agreement. Make the arrangements by e-mailing Madelyn.Barber@state.mn.us or calling 612-317-3033 and providing the full name and license number of the nurse whose documents you desire to view.
