In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Governor Walz issued Executive Order 20-03 which authorizes the Board of Nursing to renew or extend the expiration period for temporary permits. If you applied for licensure by endorsement in Minnesota prior to March 30, 2020, and have an open application you may request to renew or extend your permit to practice nursing in Minnesota. To renew or extend your permit please email a written request to Nursing.Board@state.mn.us or fax the request to 651-688-1841. Please include your full name and date of birth in your request. The change will be made to your record and your extension will be reflected on the Board's website under "Verify a License."
