Request for Comments Published in State Register

The Minnesota Board of Nursing intends to repeal its obsolete rules using the simple rulemaking procedure in Minnesota Statutes, section 14.3895.

By statute, agencies must annually identify their specific rules that are obsolete, unnecessary, or duplicative in their annual Obsolete Rules Report. Agencies must file this annual report with the Governor's Office and the Legislature. After that, agencies may repeal their identified obsolete rules using the simple rulemaking procedure in Minnesota Statutes, section 14.3895.

Proposed Repeal of Obsolete Rules of the Board of Nursing Governing Reregistration Requirements for Advanced, Professional. and Practical Nurses and Public Health Registration will be published in the State Register on May 6, 2019, and includes a copy of the notice of intent to repeal obsolete rules and the revisor's office's draft showing rules being repealed which are included at the links below:

The public may submit comments about repealing these rules until 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019.
