On July 1, 2023, a legislative change regarding naloxone administration in school settings will go into effect. • information on developing an emergency response procedure and a template that can be modified for individual school use
• information on naloxone medication including how to obtain naloxone medication using a standing order for distribution and a Condition Specific Protocol template required to administer the naloxone in the school setting by nurses.
