The Minnesota Board of Nursing is seeking applicants to serve on the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Advisory Council for the roles:
· Certified Nurse Midwife (1 position)
· Physician (2 positions)
· Public member (1 position)
The Board will make appointments at the December 5, 2019 Board meeting. The initial appointments will be from spring of 2020 to spring of 2022. Minnesota Statute 148.2841 subd. 2 states the membership appointment to the APRN Advisory Council is for a two-year term, and that members serve no more than two consecutive terms. The APRN Advisory Council statute sunsets on February 2, 2022 and the Council will conclude on that date. Applications are due to the Board by November 15, 2019.
