Nursing Programs Below Minimum Standard for 2025 NCLEX First-time Success Rates

First Year Below
The Board requires the following programs to submit a plan of corrective action because first-time candidate success rates on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) were below minimum standard (75% or below) during calendar year 2025 [Minnesota Rule 6301.2360 subpart 4.A].

  • Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Associate Degree Nursing Program, Cloquet, MN
  • Inver Hills Community College Associate Degree Nursing Program, Inver Grove Heights, MN
  • Northwest Technical College Associate Degree Nursing Program, Bemidji, MN
  • Rasmussen University, St. Cloud Associate Degree Nursing Program, St. Cloud, MN
  • Metropolitan State University Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Program, St. Paul, MN
  • Minnesota State University, Moorhead Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Program, Moorhead, MN

Second Consecutive Year Below
The Board requires an on-site survey to identify additional factors affecting the low success rate and review progress on the plan of corrective action submitted the previous year. The program must also submit a revised plan of corrective action because first-time candidate success rates on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) were below minimum standard (75% or below) during calendar years 2024 and 2025 [Minnesota Rule 6301.2360 subpart 4.B].
