Requirements for a Licensure as a Licensed Certified Midwife

• Complete a graduate level education program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) that is recognized by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Review the Application Instructions document for detail of the Licensed Certified Midwife application requirements.
• Request documentation of your current certification in good standing be sent directly from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) to the Minnesota Board of Nursing by mail or email.
