Cannabis Advisory Council Overview
The Cannabis Advisory Council:
- Reviews national cannabis policy
- Examines the effectiveness of state cannabis policy
- Reviews developments in the cannabis industry and hemp consumer industry
- Reviews developments in the study of cannabis flower and other items
- Takes public testimony
- Makes recommendations to the Office of Cannabis Management
Apply to become a member of the Cannabis Advisory Council! Applications are now open for the following new seats:
- Youth (age 18-24) who has been disproportionately affected by cannabis or cannabis use, or has an immediate family member who was negatively affected by cannabis use. Two seats are available: One youth member inside the seven-county metropolitan area and one outside the seven-county metropolitan area.
- Veteran member.
