The Minnesota Department of Health Center for Health Equity is accepting applications for the Capacity Strengthening Initiative, a grant program established to empower and uplift the ability of community organizations to receive state funding that is focused on improving the health and well-being of Minnesotans. The deadline for all application materials is November 20, 2023.

 

This initiative focuses on helping community and faith-based organizations that serve people of color, American Indians, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities. An informational session will be held October 26, 2023. Notice of awards is anticipated to take place around February 15, 2024. The grant period begins April 1, 2024.
