Sen. Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger

Senator Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger (DFL-47) represents areas of Washington County that include Woodbury and Maplewood. She was appointed to the Council's Legislative Board in 2026 following serving one year on the Council's Board in her previous role as state representative.
Sen. Hemmingsen-Jaeger was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2025 and is serving her first term as senator, preceded by two terms as state Representative. She currently sits on the Capital Investment Committee, State and Local Government Committee, Taxes Committee, and Transportation Committee.
