About the Executive Committee

Minnesota statute 15.0145 Subdv. 4(b) states: Each council shall annually elect from among the members appointed by the governor a chair and other officers it deems necessary. These officers and one legislative member selected by the council shall serve as the executive committee of the council.

2026 Schedule

The 2026 Executive Committee meeting schedule has not yet been finalized.

In 2025, Executive Committee meetings took place on the fourth Wednesday of every other month, beginning in February 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

These meetings are open to the general public.
