Eh Tah Khu

About the Karen Minnesotan community:
The Karen, or K’nyaw, are the second-largest ethnic nationality group from Myanmar (formerly Burma). Since 1949, many K’nyaw areas have been subject to government insurgency and, often, persecution. Today, an estimated 15,000 K’nyaw make Minnesota their home, and secondary migration continues to bring more K’nyaw from elsewhere in the United States to Minnesota to reunite with their families.
