2026 API Day at the Capitol
API Day at the Capitol is an energetic day of community and civic engagement held at the people’s house of Minnesota. In 2026, community members from near and far joined us at this show of solidarity, support, and strength with Minnesota’s Asian and Pacific Islander communities and supporters.
In 2026 API Day at the Capitol was held on Monday, April 20, 2026. Speakers included Council Board Chair Shwetha Vijayakumar, Congresswoman Angie Craig, Sen. Erin Murphy, Sen. Mark Koran, University of Minnesota Law School Director of Detainee Rights Clinic Linus Chan, Minnesota Hmong Chamber of Commerce Chair Mike Hang, and many others.
