On April 12th, 2018 the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans will be gathering community members from across Minnesota for this year's API Day at the Capitol! The purpose? Every community member should speak with their legislative representative about issues of importance to them.
Many of our community members may not feel confident or comfortable taking their places in the legislative process. API Day at the Capitol is designed to light the way and empower each individual to increasingly engage. Our speakers this year are young Asian Pacific Minnesotans who will remind us that it is never too early or too late to engage. When we engage, we harness our collective power to shape our futures.
The Council invites you to join us in the People's House at this year's API Day. This event is free and open to the public.
