Danielle (Dani) Luniewski (she/her) was appointed to the Minnesota Board on Aging on July 3, 2023. She is a member of the Program Operation Committee and the DEIA Committee. Dani grew up in Martin County, MN.
Dani has been a community health worker since 2018. She received her degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, MN and is currently an instructor for the community health worker program there. She is also a graduate of Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, MN, earning her gerontology certification in 2024. Dani’s work experience includes several years working for CHW Solutions and Human Services. Her expertise is connecting clientele to needed resources in the area. Her experience as a home visitor over the last 9 years has enabled her to focus on building relationships, connecting resources and educating families and seniors on nutrition, health and activities in Faribault and Martin Counties. She is also currently working with the Resettlement Program Office with CHW Solutions. Dani benefits the MBA because she does home visiting for the aging population and is aware of many concerns and issues of the aging population. Dani serves on the board for Habitat for Humanity in Faribault and Martin Counties.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and their children, is a hobby artist, loves camping, boating and completing home renovations.
