Aminata Cham, DNP, APRN, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount Mercy College in 2004. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Winona State University in Adult-Gerontology and is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical/Surgical Nursing at the M Health Fairview System in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. She has experience at Resurrection Health in Chicago and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. In her present position Dr. Cham is an educator, facilitator, mentor, and consultant. She has led the healthcare system in delirium management. Currently she is a member of the M Health Fairview nursing practice council, participates in policy and procedure development, implementation, and evaluation, and in the implementation of evidence-based practice. Dr. Cham is originally from Gambia, West Africa.
