Ann Thole has served the senior services community as a licensed nursing home administrator, licensed assisted living director, social worker and consultant for more than 30 years. She was appointed to the Minnesota Board on Aging in 2020 and currently serves on the Board’s Public Policy and Governance Committees.
Ann earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and later returned to school to further her education and completed a degree in health care administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Ann currently serves as the chief operating officer for Sholom Community Alliance. She also is a board member of LeadingAge MN. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ann has also served in a volunteer capacity for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ann’s professional and personal guiding principles include facilitating connection, collaboration and commitment, to make courageous advancement in the field of aging through actions of growth, excellence and purpose.
