Carolyn joined the MBA in 2023, and had previously been a Board member from 2011-2019. She served as a member of the Diversity and Program Operations Committees during both terms of her Board membership and co-chair of the Program Operations committee for six years. She was also the liaison to the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities from 2012 - 2019. Currently Carolyn is a member of the Program Operations Committee and is proud to have been re-appointed to serve on the Board and support its great work on behalf of seniors to age well and live well.
Carolyn's professional career spanned 25 years working with Seniors at Ecumen and with people with developmental disabilities at Mains’l Services. On a personal level, she was honored to be an advocate and support for her mother who needed to access services to remain at home through the end of her life’s journey.
Carolyn returned to college as an adult learner and holds a bachelor's degree from Metro State University.
