Susan McGeehan is a gerontologist and was appointed to the Board in 2019. She has served as co-chair of the Program Operations Committee for three years and is currently serving as secretary on the Executive Committee. Since coming to Minnesota in 2005, Susan has worked with Minnesota Medicaid programs and is passionate about serving people enrolled in Medicaid dual eligible programs and other long term services and supports. Throughout her professional career, she has worked with programs that serve the older adult population, from nursing home and transitional care, community-based care coordination in Area Agencies on Aging, health plans, research, policy and program planning and development. Susan is associate principal with Health Management Associates, where she works on research, policy and projects with states, health care entities, aging networks and philanthropy.
