Susan McGeehan is a Gerontologist and was appointed to the Board in 2019. Upon appointment, she served as the Program Operations Committee Co-Chair for three years and is currently serving as the Secretary to the Executive Committee. Susan has worked in the Minnesota Medicaid programs since coming to Minnesota in 2005 and is particularly passionate about programs serving individuals with dual eligibility as well as long term services and support. She has worked with programs that serve the older adult population throughout her professional career from nursing home and transitional care, community-based care coordination in Area Agencies on Aging and health plans to research, policy, program planning and development. Susan currently is a Senior Consultant with Health Management Associates where she works on research, policy and operational projects with states, health care entities, aging networks and philanthropy.
