Pre-Approved Continuing Education

CE programs sponsored by the AVMA, CVMA, AAHA, regional specialty boards, state and local VMA's, colleges of veterinary medicine, academic or specialty groups, academies of veterinary practice, international veterinary organizations, USAHA, USDA, and the Minnesota Board of Animal Health are pre-approved and do not require individual approval.   Additionally, CE programs approved by the AAVSB's Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) are automatically accepted as approved credit. Please note: A specialty group is defined as a group in an AVMA recognized specialty that provides board specialty certification. Specific Board Rules regarding continuing education can be found here.

CE program approval in another state may not be sufficient for Minnesota pre-approval.
