LPCC Exam Information
According to
Minnesota Statutes section 148B.5301, applicants for LPCC licensure must pass the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE). The exam may be taken any time after you have graduated from a master's or doctoral program in counseling or a related field.
Note: Passing the national exam does not mean your license has been issued. Your license will be issued only after you submit an application and fees and the Board determines you have met all the licensure requirements.
