Debbi Lindgren-Clendenen
5th Congressional District
First term appointment: 10/29/25-1/4/27
Committee assignment: Governance Committee
Debbi Lindgren-Clendenen, was appointed to the Board on Aging in 2025 and serves on the board’s Governance Committee. Debbi has been a certified geriatric and adult nurse practitioner for almost 20 years, a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a senior nurse practitioner consultant for AAGING HEALTHY LLC, a non-profit, health and wellness entity focusing on issues related to older Minnesotans.
Debbi advocates for healthcare policy serving rural and underserved patient populations. While honing her servant leadership skills, she continues to tirelessly mentor her nurse practitioner and healthcare professional peers and patient populations on optimizing healthcare quality and efficiency in Minnesota. Debbi wants to use her expertise and knowledge in geriatrics (Community Health Partnership, Evercare, AAGING HEALTHY and other demonstration programs) to ensure that public education regarding our older population’s dynamic needs will continue to evolve, be readily available to all, and contribute to optimization of aging and living well in this state.
She will also pragmatically and continually evaluate the use of technology alongside this education by looking for positive outcomes; both from the elder’s benefit, as well as optimizing spending efficiency across the diverse population. Debbi will promote efficient/judicious use of technology to provide equitable and inclusive high-quality information about aging for all older Minnesotans.
