Jane Danner

Jane Danner has worked in health care serving older adults for over 35 years. She began as a Licensed Social Worker and has served in leadership roles in various health care settings, in addition to working as an executive leader for the Minnesota Department of Health regulation division. The majority of Jane's career has been serving older adults in acute care, long-term care, assisted living, home care, adult day programs, hospice and PACE programs. Jane has a reputation for being an energetic leader in healthcare with expert knowledge to directly equip leaders to lead strategic initiatives, policy and change initiatives that promote health quality and equity. Jane currently serves as the Director of Operations at Our Lady of Peace Hospice and Home Care in St. Paul.

Jane holds a master’s degree in Health and Human Services Administration, is a Licensed Social Worker, a Licensed Assisted Living Director and a Certified Professional in Age-Friendly Healthcare. Jane is a contributing author for The Routledge Handbook of LGBTQIA Administration and Policy, which addresses federal, social and healthcare policy and the social, economic welfare and health challenges faced by LGBT older adults. Additionally, she is a contributing author in the book Mom, Dad,...Can We Talk?, a practical guide to help adult children with their aging parents.

Jane participates in Age-Friendly Minnesota, the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program at the University of Minnesota Geriatric Case Management Competition, and the MN Palliative Care Advisory Council.

Jane brings professional and personal experience that contributes to MBA's mission of advocacy, advisement, and administration to ensure older Minnesotans and their families are effectively served.
