    Area Agencies on Aging

    Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are regional organizations that provide the services, supports and information for just about everything that older adults and their families could need. Minnesota has seven AAAs across the state that are the local connections to older Minnesotans and the community support they need as they age.PSA-map-area-agencies

    Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging serves northeastern Minnesota, including Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis Counties.

    Central Minnesota Council on Aging (CMCOA) – Sartell, MN 

    Central Minnesota Council on Aging serves central Minnesota, including Benton, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, and Wright Counties.

    Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging (DSAAA) – Warren, MN 

    Dancing Sky Area Agency on Aging serves northwestern Minnesota, including Becker, Beltrami, Clay, Clearwater, Douglas, Grant, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Otter Tail, Pennington, Polk, Pope, Red Lake, Roseau, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin Counties.

    Minnesota Indian Area Agency on Aging (MIAAA) – administered by Red Lake Nation Ombimindwaa Gidinanwemaaganinaadog 

    Minnesota Indian Area Agency on Aging serves ten of Minnesota’s reservations, including Bois Forte, Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, Leech Lake, Lower Sioux, Mille Lacs, Prairie Island, Red Lake, Upper Sioux and White Earth.

    Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MNRAAA) – Mankato, MN 

    Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging serves southwestern Minnesota, including Big Stone, Blue Earth, Brown, Chippewa, Cottonwood, Faribault, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Le Sueur, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Nicollet, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Sibley, Swift, Waseca, Watonwan and Yellow Medicine Counties.
