General Information

A person or organization wishing to provide continuing education credit to licensed Minnesota chiropractors, must first have programs approved by the MBCE through an individual or annual sponsorship application, Minn. R. 2500.1410. All continuing education approvals expire on December 31 of the year of their approval; and must be resubmitted annually to continue to be offered to licensees. If providers are already approved through the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards' PACE program, MBCE does not also require completion of a Sponsor Application.

Individual Sponsor

Any person or organization who intends to provide a single course in the calendar year for Minnesota Chiropractors must submit the Individual CE Seminar Application with fee to the MBCE at least 45 days in advance of the course date. The MBCE reviews the application and approves or denies it accordingly. If approved, a 5-digit MBCE course ID # is provided to the Sponsor; and the course may be offered multiple times throughout the calendar year under that 5-digit number. The Sponsor must provide official certificates of attendance to each Minnesota licensee who participates; including all data according to Minn. R. 2500.1410, part B(4).

Annual Sponsor

Any person or organization who intends to provide 5 or more courses per calendar year for Minnesota Chiropractors, may submit the Annual CE Sponsorship Application with fee to the MBCE at least 45 days in advance of the first course date. If application is approved, the Annual Sponsor will assume the responsibility of reviewing and approving course content in accordance with the criteria established in law.  The Sponsor must provide official certificates of attendance to each Minnesota licensee who participates; including all data according to Minn. R. 2500.1410, part B(4). An unlimited number of courses may be submitted throughout the calendar year, on the CE Course Schedule. A 5-digit MBCE course ID # will be assigned to each course and provided to the sponsor.
