WILDLAND FIRE PERSONNEL and AMBULANCE SERVICES: The Governor has declared a Peacetime Emergency due to the Wildland Fires in Minnesota. The Office of EMS regulates licensed ambulance services and does not regulate personnel who would be coming to Minnesota to work as First Responders during wildland fires. While individuals may apply in the Minnesota eLicense Portal and reciprocity would be granted with NREMT certification, it is not necessary to do so, unless an individual is working on a Minnesota licensed ambulance service.
