As the state EMS medical director, you will advise the OEMS Director on clinical issues like infectious diseases, equipment shortages, and new treatments. You will help plan and implement programs, enforce EMS laws and policies, and serve on the OEMS senior staff.
A licensed Minnesota physician with at least 5 years of clinical experience, including prior EMS Medical Director experience. Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven skills are essential.
We're looking for a candidate with four years of experience in data management or analysis, an active or recently expired EMT certification, and expertise in data systems management, with a relevant bachelor's degree substituting for one year of experience; strong communication, teamwork, and government knowledge are essential, while experience in EMS operations, analytics, SQL databases, and Paramedic certification are preferred.
