Regional EMS Systems

In Minnesota, EMS (Emergency Medical Services) is organized into regions to ensure effective emergency care across the state. There are eight EMS regions, each managed by a Regional EMS Coordinator. These regions help coordinate resources, training, and response efforts among local EMS providers, hospitals, and emergency responders. They work together to improve patient care and response times during medical emergencies. The goal is to ensure that all Minnesotans have access to timely and quality emergency medical services no matter where they live in the state.
