    Takoda is a nationally-recognized career coaching service based in South Minneapolis. Our coaches will work with you one-on-one to help you enter, reenter, or advance in the workforce. Services are tailored to your individual needs and Takoda is especially equipped to serve people of color, workers who’ve recently experienced a lay-off, families who receive public assistance, and individuals with a criminal record or exiting incarceration.

     Career coaching from Takoda is offered free to  teens  and  adults  in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. During COVID, our services are provided online or in-person on our South Minneapolis campus.

    WHO WE ARE

    Twin Cities R!SE began in 1993 – our founder, Steve Rothschild, former executive Vice President at General Mills, was motivated to find a solution to the poverty experienced by many people of color in the Twin Cities. Using a market-driven approach, he sought to assist individuals in finding stable and well-paying employment.

    OUR PROGRAMS

    Our 8-week career training programs provide you with the skills needed to be successful on any job. Our trainings focus on your individual development, Personal Empowerment, Career Training, and the 21st Century Skills that today’s employers are in search of. Graduates of this program typically double or triple their annual income.
