Cultural Resource Manager

Lilly Geraghty works as a Cultural Resource Manager for the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, specializing in Archaeology and Lithic Analysis, from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2020. Since graduation, Lilly has done archaeological work throughout the Midwest in the cultural resources management field. She has worked on many projects in conjunction with Tribal Historic Preservation Officers and Tribal Cultural Specialists from across the country. For two years, Lilly has done work in the Archaeology Lab at the Science Museum of Minnesota. She has also worked with the Minnesota Historical Society on their Lithic Comparative Collection. Lilly is committed to protecting the sovereignty of the Tribal Nations of Minnesota through the authority given to MIAC through legislation.
