Charlie Davis
Charlie has over 15 years of experience in strategic planning and policy development, economic analysis, public-private partnerships, and sustainable rural development across sectors including agriculture, agroforestry, community-based natural resource management, and global food systems. He has held roles in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors, and spent much of his career internationally with extended work experience in East Timor, Vietnam, Ukraine, Mali, and Jordan. Charlie’s work has focused on rural development initiatives to improve policy and resilience to food insecurity, climate-related shocks and stresses, and support broad-based economic growth. He loves to explore Minnesota's natural abundance through camping, cycling, climbing, fishing, as well as time spent at his family’s cabin in the north woods of Minnesota. Charlie is from Minneapolis where he lives with his wife and son.
