Landscape Program Coordinator
Jaimé joined MFRC as the Landscape Coordinator in July of 2022. She assumes leadership of MFRC’s regional landscape program which includes supporting a network of six regional committees responsible for landscape level forest planning and program coordination.
With over 15 years of natural resources and planning experience, Jaimé is no stranger to working with diverse groups of stakeholders. Prior to becoming the Landscape Coordinator, Jaimé was a Project Manager for Minnesota DNR working on landscape-level projects such as the Fargo-Moorhead Diversion, Line 3 Replacement, and Line 3 Decommissioning. She has also played a leadership role in watershed planning within the Mississippi River Headwaters watershed and completed her master’s degree at Bemidji State University with an emphasis in forest ecology.
Along with her project management experience and strong organizational skills Jaimé is knowledgeable in a broad array of natural resources subjects including wildlife management, forest ecology, and hydrology.
Education and Extracurricular:
• B.S. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
• M.S. in Biology from Bemidji State University
• Volunteer - Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society
