5-1800-39900 In the Matter of the Appeal by Peggy Cobbins of the Order of License Revocation

August 26, 2024 - The Department’s disqualification was based on incorrect information and thus the revocation Appellant’s license was improper. Even if Appellant were properly disqualified, Appellant does not pose a risk of harm to children served by the program, and the disqualification should be set aside. If the disqualification is valid and not set aside, revocation is not the appropriate sanction. Therefore, the Judge recommends that the Department’s disqualification determination and the Order of License Revocation be RESCINDED.
