October 14, 2026 - The Department prematurely suspended Respondent’s licenses on August 19, 2026. The Department learned that the Department of Human Services (DHS) found credible allegations of fraud against Respondent and intended to issue Notices of Payment Withhold. The DHS payment withholds went into effect on September 21, 2026, 33 days after the Department suspended Respondent’s licenses. Respondent did not have a registered Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) for its three locations after August 12, 2026. The Department did not show that Respondent’s violation posed an imminent risk of harm to residents’ health and safety. The Commissioner should RESCIND the Notice and Order of Immediate Temporary Suspension on Respondent’s three assisted living licenses: License 424119, License 424118, and License 425010.
